FormWorks Studio opened in 2012 in a 120 m2 workshop in Ningbo with three designers and one machining centre. The first commissions were appearance models for local appliance exporters.形工设计于 2012 年在宁波一间 120 平方米的工作室起步，最初只有 3 名设计师和 1 台加工中心，首批订单是为本地家电出口企业制作外观模型。
